THE GADGETS THAT QUALIFY FOR COVER

The gadget must be less than 36 months old (or less than 12 months old for laptops) with valid proof of

purchase (not from online auctions) when this insurance starts. Only items on the list below can be covered:

iPods Mobile Phones Satellite Navigation Devices

DVD Players Smart Phones E-Readers

iPads PDAs Camera Lenses

Games Consoles Laptops In-Car Computers

Digital Cameras Tablets Head / Ear Phones

You can include as many laptops iphones ipads etc …as you want but only up to the Benefit Limit you select (see below).

BENEFIT LIMIT – YOUR CHOICE OF COVER

There are two levels of cover you can choose from:

Gold will provide a maximum benefit limit of ~~500

or

Platinum will provide a maximum benefit limit of 1,000

POLICY EXCESS

There is a policy excess applicable to each and every claim. This is the amount you must contribute towards

the claim. You can select the level of excess that you want to pay. This can be ~~25 or ~~50 or ~~75.

The amount of excess you selected will be shown in your insurance schedule.

SIGNIFICANT FEAURES, BENEFITS, LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS

A. Accidental damage

We will pay for repair or replacement costs if your laptop or iphone or ipad etc… is damaged even from water damage which could affect the hard drive as the result of an accident. Where only part or parts of your gadget have been damaged, we will only repair or replace that part or parts.

B. Theft

If your laptop or iphone or ipad etc… is stolen we will replace it. Where only part or parts of your electronic equipment have been

stolen, we will only replace that part or parts.

C. Malicious Damage

If your laptop or iphone or ipad etc… is damaged through the intentional or deliberate actions of another party we will repair or

replace it. Where only part or parts of your gadget have been damaged, we will only repair or replace that

part or parts.

D. Fraudulent Call Use

We will pay up to ~~100 including VAT towards the cost of calls made without your permission from your

gadget with airtime capability while the gadget is stolen and while the calls are not barred by the airtime

provider.

This is subject to such unauthorised calls being made within 12 hours of discovery of the theft of your gadget.

You must also make a valid theft claim under this insurance to be able to claim for unauthorised calls.

E. Breakdown

This policy covers mechanical breakdown which occurs after the manufacturer’s guarantee period has

expired. This cover is not available on laptops.

F. Accidental Loss

We will replace your laptop or iphone or ipad etc… if you accidentally lose it, meaning that you have accidentally left the laptop or iphone or ipad etc… in a location and you are permanently deprived of its use. Where only part or parts of your gadget have been

lost, we will only replace that part or parts.

Worldwide Geographical limit

Cover will apply while your laptop or iphone or ipad etc… is in the United Kingdom. Cover is also extended to anywhere in the

world for up to a maximum of 90 days in any one annual period of cover.

HOW TO CLAIM

To report a claim please contact the Administrator, Citymain Administrators Limited, on 0844 875 1564 within

48 hours of discovering the incident. Theft claims must also be reported to the police with 24 hours (and

within 12 to your Network in the event of theft of your telephone).
